You will find the Brafferton just 1/2 block east of Lincoln Square (traffic circle in the center of Gettysburg) on Route 30 going toward York (hence the name of the street). We are the only stone structure on that block and have a big sign over our door. The number of our street address is also on the door in big brass numbers “44”. Most of the locals in town call the inn “the old Codori house”, in case you need to ask for directions.

From New City and points further northeast-
Take Interstate 84 West (from Hartford) or 78 West (starts at Newark, NJ airport) to Interstate 81. Go south to Interstate 83 South, just outside of Harrisburg, Pa. Follow I-83 through Harrisburg and exit left onto Route 581. Exit right onto Route 15 South, to Gettysburg. Go 35 miles and take the second exit for Gettysburg, marked York St. Exit right at the ramp and go exactly 2 miles to the Inn, which will be one half block passed Stratton St. Our house address is 44 York St, and is on the right side of the road.
Philadelphia-
Take PA Turnpike west to exit 17, marked Gettysburg Route 15. Take Route 15 south for 30 miles to second Gettysburg exit marked York St. Exit right at the ramp and go exactly 2 miles to the Inn, which will be one half block passed Stratton St. Our house address is 44 York St, and is on the right hand side of the road.
Baltimore-
Take Route 795 north off the beltway. It becomes Route 140. Continue on Route 140 west to Westminster to Route 97. Take Route 97 north approximately 25 miles. Route 97 turns into Baltimore Street in Gettysburg. Stay straight ahead to the circle in the center of town. Turn right at the circle and you will be on Route 30 East, York St. The Inn is one half block on the left hand side, number 44 York St.
Washington DC and points south-
Take interstate 270 north off the Beltway (I-495) to Frederick, Maryland, where I-270 feeds into Route 15 north. Once on Route 15 north, go approximately 35 miles to the first Gettysburg exit, marked Steinwehr Ave. At the top of the ramp, turns left and continue about six miles. You will see signs for the National Visitors Center. At the intersection at Baltimore St, make a left hand turn. You will come to the circle in the center of town. Turn right at the circle, and you will be on Route 30 East, York St. The Inn is one half block on the left hand side, numbered 44 York St.
Pittsburgh and points west-
Take PA Turnpike (Interstate 76) east to exit 12 at Breezewood. Then follow Route 30 east approximately 65 miles into Gettysburg. You will come to a circle in the center of town. Go straight through the circle, continuing on Route 30 East. The Inn is one half block on the hand side, numbered 44 York St.
